How a request via Normwijzer works
You can read all the articles on Normwijzer freely. If you need help for your organisation, you can submit a non-binding request. Below you can read what to expect.
First we understand your question
We use your request to understand which standard, help and timeline are relevant. Sometimes we need additional information. An exploratory question is also welcome; you do not need to want a quote or an order yet.
An introduction by agreement
If contact with a specialist seems suitable, we first discuss with you which party that is and what for. Only after you agree do we share the necessary request details with that party. A copy of your form does not automatically go to several providers.
On the form, you can also give your consent in advance with a tick box. Then we may share your request with up to 3 specialists who match your question, without first checking with you for each party. That tick box is optional.
If you submit a request via the short questionnaire on our article pages, you are asking for contact with specialists yourself. We share that request with up to 3 suitable specialists. This is also stated next to the send button.
A suitable provider is not always available. We do not guarantee an introduction, quote, certificate or assessment outcome.
What is free and what can cost money?
Reading our articles and submitting your request are free. A provider may charge a fee for coaching, training or an audit, for example. You agree the scope, price and terms of that work with the provider before you place an order.
Normwijzer may agree a fee with providers for an introduction. If such an arrangement applies to a proposal to you, we tell you before you agree to the introduction. A mention in an article is not in itself a recommendation or proof of a paid partnership.
Advice and assessment are different roles
An adviser supports the preparation or implementation. An independent certification body, inspection body or accountant has a different role. Which party is authorised and suitable depends on the scheme and the scope. Where necessary, check the recognition or accreditation and its scope. Normwijzer does not issue certificates, accreditations or assurance reports itself.
Your data
We use the name, organisation, contact details and explanation you enter to process your request and contact you. The chosen standard, help question and source page help with the assessment. Do not share confidential documents or sensitive personal data in the form.
The form is sent via FormSubmit, our form service, and the request reaches Normwijzer by email. We also store your request in our own database at Supabase, on servers in the EU (Ireland). FormSubmit uses a spam check. You can find more information in the FormSubmit privacy statement . You can also email info@normwijzer.nl directly.
If you use the chat assistant, we send your messages to OpenAI to generate an answer. OpenAI processes that data in the United States. We do not store chat conversations. If you submit a request via the chat, what you asked in the chat is included as an explanation with your request. Do not share confidential information or sensitive personal data in the chat.
Before we pass on your details to a possible partner, we ask for your consent for that named party. If you have ticked the box on the form, that counts as consent for up to 3 suitable specialists. A request is not a subscription to a newsletter. Do you want to withdraw your request, or have your details changed or deleted? Contact us at info@normwijzer.nl.
To understand how the website is used, we use Vercel Analytics and PostHog. For the request measurements we have set up, we only send the source page, button position and selected categories, not the contact details you entered or free text. PostHog is set up without session recordings, automatic form capture or persistent storage of a visitor identifier in your browser.
